This site has been developed to promote the hobby of model engineering, I would just like more people to know what can be built with a lathe and milling machine. Anything you can dream up can be built, with patience and a little time of course.

I have finally had a chance to get started on the 1/3 scale top fuel engine, it is beginning to take shape. My shop has changed once again; I have replaced my CNC knee mill and Bridgeport mill with a HAAS VF-1 4 axis machining center. The new engine will be made entirely on CNC machine tools. I will try to update the site more often with pictures of the engine during the build. My first V8 engine is now in the possession of Paul Knapp, who is a collector of miniature engines and displays them at various museums and events. Paul has placed the V8 in his collection at the Sherline machine tool craftsmanship museum located in Vista, California. Please visit Paul's and the Sherline museum sites located in my links page.
